Improvements to route 101 from Monday 31st October
Posted: 18th October 2011

A range of small improvements are being made to route 101 from Monday 31st October.

Due to the ongoing redevelopment of Coventry City Centre, Broadgate will be closing to all traffic
from the end of the month.  This means that Route 101 will have a NEW TERMINUS in Coventry.

From 31st October route 101 will depart from TRINITY STREET STAND AB (outside Sainsbury's).

Certain journeys will also now call at Rugby Rail Station, to connect with trains to and from Birmingham,
ideal for a day out Christmas Shopping!

In addition, there are new peak-hour morning and afternoon departures that also serve
Rugby High and Ashlawn schools.

For full details give us a call, ask your driver, or download a copy of the new timetable.

 New Fares & New Tickets
Posted: 31st January 2011

As a result of the ever increasing cost of fuel there will be some small changes to our fares from Monday 31st January.
Some fares will go up, some will stay the same, and some of our Return fares actually get a bit cheaper!
And you can rest assured that our fares are still lower than those of our competitors!

We will also be introducing new tickets on our 10, 101 and 735 services into Coventry.
The "n-bus" ticket will now be available to buy from your driver.
This ticket gives you one days unlimited travel within the West Midlands conurbation,
not only on our buses but also on National Express Coventry, Stagecoach, DeCourcey,
Johnsons, Central Connect, and over 35 other bus operators too!
And all for just £3.80 - cracking value!

Disruption to School Bus Services due to Icy Roads
Posted:
29th November 2010

Attention Parents from Napton, Priors Marston
 Flecknoe, Grandborough and Willoughby!

Please remember that buses weigh 15 to 20 tons,
are rear-wheel drive, and are mainly automatic...
This causes problems like this (not one of our buses fortunately!)

Winter seems to have set in with a vengence
across Coventry and Warwickshire,
with freezing temperatures and icy roads
causing problems across the County.

We will do our very best to run all our services as normal
if the cold weather continues.  However, in the event of
overnight snowfall we may be unable to operate
along some of the untreated rural roads.

In the event of any service cancellations information
will be available by telephone from 7:00am
on 024 7645 0808.

We would like to thank all our passengers
for bearing with us during the bad weather!

You can keep also track of any school closures by listening to
BBC CWR (94.8 fm) or Mercia (97.0 fm).
Mercia also keep an up-to-date list of school closures  here.

New Ticket Machines on A-Line Buses
Posted: 14th June 2010

You'll probably have noticed our new ticket machines are now fully operational on our local bus services.
These state-of-the-art machines are part of a £10million partnership between bus operators and Centro, the West Midlands' Integrated Transport Authority.

If you travel with an English National Concessionary Bus Pass, you'll now need to change the way you use your pass.
Instead of showing it to the driver, you need to pop it onto the card reader on the top of the machine.
You can leave it in your purse or wallet, it'll still read it.  You'll see the light go green and the machine beep when it's done.
It only takes a couple of seconds, but if you're unsure the driver will be happy to help you!

If you pay cash when you travel with us you'll continue to pay the driver and take your ticket from the machine.

For full details ask your driver or give us a call on 024 7645 0808.

A-Line supports Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance
Posted: 22nd December 2009
from RouteOne Magazine

Staff from A-Line Coaches wrapped up warm last Wednesday night before setting off into the snow
with members of Pailton & District Young Farmers Club on their annual carol singing tour,
raising over £300 for the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.  "It was a really good night, despite the freezing weather!"
said A-Line's Operations Manager, Toby France.  "I've been involved with Young Farmers for some years now,
so I was really pleased to provide the transport for their charity fundraising trip free of charge.
And, of course, as a Company we were happy to put our hands in our pockets and donate some more to the kitty.
The Air Ambulance is such a worthy cause, and its great to be able to support them."
