New Ticket Machines & Revised Fares
Posted: 14th June 2010

You'll probably have noticed our new ticket machines are now fully operational on our local bus services.
These state-of-the-art machines are part of a £10million partnership between bus operators and Centro, the West Midlands' Integrated Transport Authority.

If you travel with an English National Concessionary Bus Pass, you'll now need to change the way you use your pass.
Instead of showing it to the driver, you need to pop it onto the card reader on the top of the machine.
You can leave it in your purse or wallet, it'll still read it.  You'll see the light go green and the machine beep when it's done.
It only takes a couple of seconds, but if you're unsure the driver will be happy to help you!

If you pay cash when you travel with us you'll continue to pay the driver and take your ticket from the machine.
Most of our Adult fares in the Coventry area have gone up slightly (though we're still cheaper than National Express Coventry or Stagecoach).
Fares outside the Coventry area remain unaltered.

For full details ask your driver or give us a call on 024 7645 0808.

Recent Disruption to Rural Bus Services due to Icy Roads
Posted:
15th January 2010

Attention Parents from Napton, Priors Hardick and Priors Marston!
Please remember that buses generally weigh 10 to 15 tons,
are rear-wheel drive, and are mainly automatic...
This causes problems like this (not one of our buses fortunately!)

The severe weather seems to have passed (for now anyway),
and we're pleased all our bus routes have returned to normal!

Many thanks to all our passengers for bearing with us
during the recent snowy spell!  And a big pat on the back
to all our drivers for working so hard to keep the wheels in motion!

Just in case we wake up to another snow scene,
we'd like to remind you all that you can keep track of any
emergency school closures by listening to
BBC CWR (94.8 fm) or Mercia (97.0 fm).
Mercia also keep an up-to-date list of school closures  here.

You can also join us on Facebook to hear all our news
and get some great offers just for our fans.

A-Line supports Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance
Posted: 22nd December 2009
from RouteOne Magazine

Staff from A-Line Coaches wrapped up warm last Wednesday night before setting off into the snow
with members of Pailton & District Young Farmers Club on their annual carol singing tour,
raising over £300 for the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.  "It was a really good night, despite the freezing weather!"
said A-Line's Operations Manager, Toby France.  "I've been involved with Young Farmers for some years now,
so I was really pleased to provide the transport for their charity fundraising trip free of charge.
And, of course, as a Company we were happy to put our hands in our pockets and donate some more to the kitty.
The Air Ambulance is such a worthy cause, and its great to be able to support them."
