A-Line Coaches operate a varied fleet of coaches to meet all your requirements.
Our vehicles are maintained to the highest standards and we have an excellent record with the VOSA Vehicle Inspectorate.

All of our coaches are fitted with seat belts conforming to EU regulations, giving you complete peace of mind.

Accessible Midi-Coaches (LEZ Compliant)
(Mercedes Benz Vario)

Fitted with 24 high-backed seats with seatbelts, overhead luggage racks,
radio/cassette player and rear under-floor tail-lift.

Alternatively, this coach can accommodate
20 seated passengers and 2 standard wheelchairs.
We regret that electric wheelchairs cannot be carried.

When booking this vehicle, please make sure you let us know
if you require the tail lift.

Executive Coaches
(Bova Futura / Plaxton Excalibur / Berkhof Excellence / Plaxton Paramount III )

 Fitted with either 49 or 53 high-backed reclining seats with armrests,
seatbelts throughout, overhead luggage racks, either forced-air ventilation
or full air-conditioning, individual reading lights, FM radio and CD player,
full-draw curtains or window blinds, and large under-floor luggage lockers.
Many of these vehicles are fitted with onboard toilets and DVD or players.
If you require these facilities please be sure to advise us when you make your booking.

Local Service Buses
(Volvo B6 / Mercedes-Benz Vario / Optare Solo)

Ideally suited for the mass-movement of passengers,
these vehicles can be found operating our local bus services,
and as such are not normally available for private-hire.

In preparation for the 2012 London Olympics, Transport for London (the London Highways Authority) has introduced a Low Emission Zone (LEZ).
 TfL says the aim of the scheme is to improve air quality in the city by deterring the most polluting vehicles from driving in the area.
The vehicles affected by the LEZ are diesel-engined lorries, buses, coaches, large vans, minibuses and other heavy vehicles such as horse boxes.

Vehicles that do not meet  'Euro 4' emissions standards must pay a £200 Daily Charge to enter the Capital, similar to the Congestion Charge.
This effects any coach built before 2005; coaches built before this date have to have special modifications made to meet this higher standard.

We are pleased to announce that our 24 seater is now registered with TfL and is LEZ Compliant.
Unfortunately our 49 seat coaches are not yet tested, so we will include the Daily Charge in the cost of coach hire that we quote you.
